We Build Futures

Households earn credits in the financial fund as they fulfill respnsibilities
for routine upkeep, rent payments and participation in meetings.
Each household earns credits monthly and may borrow from the fund
to weather financial setbacks, which in a typical rental situtation could
cost them their housing. Residents' assets may grow for 10 years
up to $10,000. After five years, a houshold's assests become vested
and they are eligible for a cash payment.
Cornerstone helps residents develop financial skills and knowledge so
that they can invest in further economic growth for themselves and
their children.
Through relationships with volunteers and other partners, Cornerstone
provides economic education to help residents improve their credit,
balance their bugets, plan for the future, start a business and learn
how the stock market works. Resident recently formed an investment
club.
